Our Educators
Ms. Christy Ashby
Ms. Christy is the Director at NAPS. She has been working at NAPS for almost 30 years. She began her teaching career as a second-grade teacher at Woodland Elementary School. While at NAPS she taught in the two-year-old, three-year-old and Multi-Age/Pre-K classes. She also spent two years as the Instructional Coach and the Early Childhood Education Specialist at NAPS. Ms. Christy has three children that graduated from NAPS. She enjoys shopping, decorating and entertaining.
Ms. Lilia Avalos
Ms. Lilia teaches in the two-year-old Zippy Zebras class. She has been teaching at NAPS for nine years. Ms. Lilia has a heart for our youngest students and enjoys helping them learn and grow. She enjoys setting goals for herself and feels supported by NAPS in achieving those goals. Ms. Lilia has two children. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks.
Ms. Zeina Husseini
Ms. Zeina teaches in the two-year-old Zippy Zebras class. She has been teaching at NAPS for three years. Her nurturing personality and love for her students create a home away from home feeling for her students. Ms. Zeina has two children that attended NAPS. In her free time, she enjoys walking and working out at the gym.
Ms. Charlene Goljevscek
Ms. Charlene teaches in the three-year-old Precious Pandas class. She has been teaching at NAPS for ten years. Ms. Charlene brings so much fun and many laughs to NAPS. Her training as an Occupational Therapist equips her with valuable knowledge and ways to help her students thrive. In her free time, she enjoys gaming and playing with her two dogs.
Ms. Shilpa Tandel
Ms. Shilpa teaches in the three-year-old Precious Pandas class. This is her third year teaching at NAPS. She loves working with her students and helping those little ones who are struggling to adjust to school. Ms. Shilpa enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Ms. Shilpa has two children. Her youngest is a NAPS graduate.
Ms. Bashama Shaikh
Ms. Bashama teaches in the three-year-old Terrific Tigers class. She has been working with NAPS in various capacities for eight years. Ms. Bashama loves helping her students learn and grow and she also loves learning and growing as a NAPS employee. She has three children, and she loves reading and taking walks.
Ms. Neelam Tripathi
Ms. Neelam teaches in the three-year-old Terrific Tigers class. She has been teaching at NAPS for two years. Ms. Neelam has a fun enthusiasm for learning and feels motivated to grow at NAPS. She has two children who both graduated from NAPS. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like tracking, camping, planting, and gardening.
Ms. Swati Baid
Ms. Swati teaches in the Multi-Age/Pre-K Beautiful Birds class. This is her third-year teaching at NAPS. She loves interacting with her students and watching their excitement when she teaches them new things. She enjoys painting, exploring unfamiliar places and capturing them with photos. Ms. Swati has a son who is a NAPS graduate.
Ms. Ritu Arora
Ms. Ritu teaches in the Multi-Age/Pre-K Beautiful Birds class. She joined NAPS this school year and has been a wonderful addition to our team. Her smile and attention to detail are a blessing to our school and especially her students. She has two children. The oldest is a former NAPS student. Ms. Ritu enjoys crafting with her daughters.
Ms. Padmaja Kudalkar
Ms. Padmaja is the Office Manager at NAPS. She has been working with NAPS in various capacities for twelve years. She is often the first person to welcome our new families to NAPS. She loves interacting with the students and families and is always happy to share more about our wonderful school. Ms. Padmaja has two children who graduated from NAPS. She loves listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
